Loyola Rugby has a storied legacy of excellence, marked by five PRC championships, eight national championship appearances, and the distinction of producing 10 All-American Rugby Players. The program currently fields three competitive teams: Men’s 15’s, Men’s 7’s, and Women’s 7’s, all proudly competing on Lugano Memorial Field. This field honors Sean Lugano ’95, a Loyola Rugby All-American who tragically lost his life during the 9/11 attacks. Supported by dedicated sponsors and the Society of Loyola Old Boys—a non-profit with over 800 members and more than 48 years of alumni—the program continues to thrive as a testament to teamwork, tradition, and community.

Since 1976.
